The first release on Object Distraction is a straight up cover of Metro's original Glam Disco oddity, Criminal World (later covered by Bowie on "Lets Dance") performed produced by Last Waltz & their long time friend Mickey C (Aka Iron Blu).

For their remix, Last Waltz provide a club orientated reinterpretation that manages to include many of their influences - ranging from Italo Synths, Chicago Keys and Detroit stabs... all underpinned by thumping 808 rhythms and Disco percussion.

Also provided is a remix by the ever elusive Barefist and FatFuk records creator Phoreski (aka Richard Gatteux). Phoreski manages to create a distinctly muscular disco workout filled with expansive warm synths that open up beneath chunky, agressive guitar riffs and intricate electronic counter melodies.

This is dance music.
